What is The Grey Robes?

Three people in grey robes standing inside a dimly lit temple, looking out of a large, arched window at a reddish lunar eclipse. The temple interior is adorned with ancient symbols and faintly illuminated by torches on the walls. The moon casts a subtle glow on the faces of the observers, highlighting their expressions of awe and reverence. The night sky outside is clear, with stars visible around the eclipsed moon, adding to the mystical atmosphere of the scene.

The Grey Robes is a fraternal order
—a doctrinal siblinghood—whose mission is to move the world's people toward a consent-based social order.

Some have described us as the “Freemasons of Decentralization.”

That Mission connects to eleven other vectors, which are:

  1. Mystery. Life, the universe, and our inner worlds are sources of wonder.

  2. Mission. We’re dedicated to bringing about a global consent-based order.

  3. Morality. We commit ourselves to the virtues and the eschewal of vices.

  4. Means. We employ means such as subversive communication and innovation.

  5. Meaning. We will make meaning even where there is none to be found.

  6. Mutuality. We expect you to stand strong, but we will lift you when you fall.

  7. Mastery. We will improve until we die.

  8. Metamorphosis. We embrace continual change and growth.

  9. Memory. We honor our roots while planting seeds for the future.

  10. Malevolence. We stand vigilant against those who would control us.

  11. Mortality. We number our days to make them count.

  12. Mythos. We craft new stories for an empire of the mind.

The first five listed above compose The Grey Robes Inaugural Course.
